A Little Music History
I have been making music since I was just a 90’s kid. My favorite band was Nirvana growing up and it inspired me to write some of my own lyrics. With titles such as “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” and “Brain Nails” I’m certain some of the music video style of Nine Inch Nails and song naming style of Greenday bled through in my writing. I also listened to Bone Thugs -N- Harmony at that age which, looking back, was probably kind of an odd mixture. It would shape my future as I started writing and recording hip hop as a young adult. Battling many things like addiction, psychosis and the loss of my father – I went through many changes from the content I would write about to the genre of music I would create. My latest works have been mostly Electronica.
As you can hear in the song, “Fan Tom” that was on this page when you loaded it. I’ve made music under the names ‘The Intelligence Agency’ and ‘Project Unity’ both of which you can find on Spotify, Apple Music and Youtube as well as ‘CriticalMath’ which is what I have been using most recently. It has been a couple years since I have been anything new but I don’t plan on being finished anytime soon. I need to save up for new equipment as the stuff I used before I no longer have access to. It is kind of depressing but I still write lyrics and listen to try to find my next new sound. I truly hope to continue writing music very soon, and I hope you’ll continue to come back and check so that you can listen!
